IBRD funding for rubber project
THE World Bank will sanction Rs. 4 crores to strengthen the Rubber Producers' Societies (RPSs) and to introduce new schemes to enhance the income of self-help groups for women. This is part of the second phase of the World Bank-assisted rubber project.

Palmolein may plunge to $250/tonne
REFINED palmolein prices have the potential to further decline from the present level of $310 a tonne free-on-board, going by the recent trends. The whole palm complex is buffeted by rising stocks and sluggish demand.
