OECD reiterates commitment to cut farm subsidies
IN conformity with Article 20 of the Uruguay Round Agreement on Agriculture, the Ministerial level meeting of the OECD (Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development) Council held early this week (June 26-27) has affirmed its commitment to the lon g-term objective of substantial, progressive reductions in support and protection resulting in fundamental reform.
