CWCL to set up container freight station at Calcutta dock system
CONTINENTAL Warehousing Corporation Ltd (CWCL), belonging to Chennai-based NDR Group, is to launch a container freight station (CFS) in the Calcutta Dock System (CDS) at an investment of Rs. 40 crores. The company hopes to receive the Commerce Ministry's clearance shortly, according to company sources.

Re-tender likely for UP-Bihar NH project
PACKAGE No. 7 of the World Bank-funded NH-2 project between Bognipur in Uttar Pradesh and Barwa Adda in Bihar is likely to be re-tendered as the World Bank is understood to have declined a suggestion made by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI ) to resolve a technical handicap in the 138-km-long package.

Coffee exports thru New Mangalore port likely
COFFEE traders are growing more and more inclined to operate through New Mangalore Port which might, according to port officials, give a boost to the recently-resumed container services from this only major port in Karnataka.
