PNB plans co-branded card with HSBC
PUNJAB National Bank (PNB) is planning to launch a co-branded credit card in alliance with HSBC, the international banking services major.

Banks urged to set up SSI branches
THE Reserve Bank of India has asked banks to step up credit to the small-scale sector. In a note to various banks, the central bank has asked the PSBs to set up specialised SSI branches.

ANZ Grindlays AMC to take a hand from group companies
ANZ Grindlays Asset Management Company has proposed to approach the subsidiaries of its sponsors, for their services in conducting its mutual funds business. The subsidiaries are ANZ Grindlays Bank and Esanda Finanz, the latter being an NBFC.

Catholic Syrian extends business hours
KOCHI: The Thrissur-based Catholic Syrian Bank has decided to extend business hours at 188 branches and 20 extension counters by one hour from July 5.

NEW DELHI: The Currency Note Press, Nasik Road, and the India Government Mint, Cherlapally in Ranga Reddy district, have been declared a public utility services for six months with immediate effect.

UTI Bank adds 6 ATMs in twin cities
HYDERABAD: UTI Bank opened six more off-site ATMs in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad on Wednesday as part of its expansion programme. With this, the bank's ATM network in the twin cities has increased to 21. The bank also has three branches and extension counters each here.
