Chennai port order hiking box charges quashed
THE Madras High Court has quashed two notifications issued by the Chennai Port Trust in July 1994 and July 1995 making upward revision in the container storage charges.

Petronet LNG contract -- `Domestic non-shipping cos can be jt venture partners'
INDIAN shipping companies, meeting the financial criteria of having a net worth of Rs. 50 crores and above to be eligible to bid for the proposed shipping deal of Petronet LNG Ltd by itself, will also be allowed to rope in the other non-shipping Indian companies as partners in the domestic joint venture consortium.
