Costly power, imports bug ferro alloy industry

THE Powerloom Development and Export Promotion Council (PDEXCIL) has approached the Centre seeking second hand textile machinery imports under export promotion capital goods (EPCG) scheme at five per cent duty, the same rate at which new textile machiner y is allowed under EPCG imports now.
