SSI completes AlbionOrion acquisition
CHENNAI: SSI Ltd has announced the completion of its acquisition of AlbionOrion Co LLC. The acquisition was completed by issuing 6,38,236 equity shares representing 6,382,360 GDSs on December 11 in favour of the sellers, and the remaining $15 million in cash. The company had earlier remitted $5 million in cash as part of the cash-and-stock acquisition process, according to an SSI press release on Tuesday.

Sify launches subsidiary for portals
CHENNAI: Satyam Infoway Ltd has announced the launch of Satyam Webexchange Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary, which will offer a range of B2B portals in partnership with Indian and international e-commerce and trading sites.
