Tobacco move: More wide-ranging than ITC
THE move of the Government to launch a rigorous anti-tobacco programme could affect the business volumes of tobacco products' producers.

Technical Analysis
Bears back in hunt; prey on tech stocks
FINALLY, the bears managed to take control of the third trading day of the week. Wednesday's trading saw a sell-off in the technology sector, after the US-based technology major, Cisco Systems, announced weaker than expected results. This is expected to have a negative impact on Wednesday's trading session at the Nasdaq.

Downtrend triggered
THE bears dominated the market on Wednesday. Though the domination was mild yet it was good enough to trigger a fresh downtrend in the cash index. The sentiment of the tradable list is not yet supportive of the new trend and is mildly bullish.
