PIB to meet again on Hooghly scheme
No decision could be taken at the PIB meeting held in Delhi on February 5 to discuss the Rs 350-crore river regulatory scheme designed to improve the navigability of the Hooghly river near Haldia dock. There will be another round of meeting on February 2 0, it is learnt.

ULA combine bags Mumbai port cargo terminal deal
THE United Liner Agencies Ltd -- Shipping Corporation of India-Novolog Inc., Odessa combine has bagged the contract for the operation and maintenance of the general cargo terminal at Indira Dock in Mumbai Port on a build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis .

Durgapur Expressway project -- BOT operators to collect tolls for nearby stretch too
THE Government has decided to exercise the option of tolling the Panagarh-Palsit highway project to be developed on annuity basis by allowing the Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) operator for the proposed Durgapur Expressway from Dankuni to Palsit to co llect tolls for the adjacent annuity stretch also.
