Tobacco ban(e)
While the Centre's decision to ban smoking in public places and the promotion of tobacco products is laudable, even with strict enforcement, one is not sure if the measure will get the desired results.

The Telebusiness column, `For a Dabhol relief fund?' (Business Line, February 15) details all matters related to Dabhol succintly. Even if the MSEB does not buy power from DPC, payments made to the generator under the Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) usu ally consist of two components: Capacity charge and energy charge.
