Urea: Up on cost-push
GLOBAL urea prices are in the process of beating a retreat after shooting up to levels of $122 a tonne in January. January's spike came shortly after prices touched a peak of $130 per tonne in August 2000, their highest level in four years.

Sluggish trend in leather market
BUSINESS continued to remain dull in the leather market during the week except for a few patchy transactions in sheep nappa, E.I. tanned coat skins and certain articles in cow leather.
