May cement output up by 3.98 pc
NEW DELHI: The large units in the domestic cement industry have cumulatively registered a production level of 8.88 million tonnes (mt) during May, reflecting a 3.98 per cent increase to the production level of 8.54 mt recorded in the same month during th e previous year.

Knitwear exporters irked by duty drawback rate revision
THE rationalisation of the duty drawback rates announced by the Centre has upset knitwear exporters in Tamil Nadu as the drawback rates for the latter's exports stand reduced by nearly 80 per cent.
