River pilots defer strike
THE members of the Calcutta-Hugli Pilots' Guild, the Association of River Pilots of Calcutta Port, have decided to defer their strike till June 12, responding to the appeal by the Deputy Chairman of the Calcutta Dock System (CDS), Mr T.K. Dewan, and othe r senior officials of the port.
