Corporate
Hind Lever clarifies
This refers to `Even multinationals employ children for a profit' (Business Line, June 21). The report mentions: ``HLL, which grows hybrid cotton seed in an extent of 2000 acres in the state (Andhra Pradesh), employed 20,000 children.'' We wish to clarif y that Hindustan Lever Limited (HLL) does not employ children.

Power
Dabhol dispute
This refers to `Enron row may turn off foreign investors' (Business Line, June 22). The contentions of the US-India Business Council are unwarranted and one-sided. One wonders how a joint business council, which must be having members from India as well, can make such unwarranted and one-sided propaganda in favour of a US firm?
