Postal dept told to clear Rs 90-cr dues to IA
THE Ministry of Civil Aviation has written to the Posts and Telegraph Department asking that it clear the arrears of close to Rs 90 crore owed to Indian Airlines (IA) for the cargo that the airline has carried.

Fresh directive to banks on bad loans recovery
THE Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has asked public sector banks (PSBs) to devise a scheme for recovery of dues for loans outstanding up to Rs 25,000, the guidelines for which will be operative up to June 30, 2002, according to an RBI release.
