Vistaar plans foray via Hyderabad

V. Rishi Kumar

HYDERABAD, Jan.1

VISTAAR Technologies Inc, a New Jersey-based software firm focussed on building next generation decision support applications for global enterprises, is planning to enter India by establishing a development centre at Hyderabad.

The Co-Founder of Vistaar Technologies, Mr Ravi R. Reddy, who was earlier associated with Think Systems acquired by i2Technologies, told Business Line that the company's solutions would enable customers to dynamically identify new revenue and profit opportunities at an actionable level across an enterprise.

Mr Sandeep Tungare, a Co-Founder of Vistaar, is on the board of i2Technologies, which is among top 20 IT firms in the US.

Mr Reddy, who is in Hyderabad to meet the Chief Minister, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, said that the company's suite of solutions covering enterprise applications and business process optimisation were popular with major firms in the US.

``Apart from developing a centre at Hyderabad, we are in the process of facilitating biotech and pharmaceuticals segments in leveraging the latent talent from India,'' Mr Reddy said.

``New Jersey is the pharma capital of the US and Hyderabad is a major bulk drug and pharmaceutical manufacturer in the country. We see Andhra Pradesh as having the capability to play a vital role in the ongoing biotechnology revolution. We are keen to bring in synergies in these three sectors,'' he said.
