Easy2002 to be held on Jan 7

BANGALORE: CHI South India, a chartered chapter of US-headquartered ACM, has announced Easy2002, a one day conference of software usablity to be held at Bangalore on January 7. Easy2002 is an opportunity for the software and Web design communities in India to learn about usability, which is a critical part today, said a CHI press release.

Usability engineering helps software organisations deliver products high on quality in terms of easy of use. This discipline, relatively new in India helps organisations look at products from the users' viewpoint and apply usability or ergonomic principles and methods of product design. The resulting products and Web sites are easy, fast and pleasant to use, the release said.
