KOLKATA: Kolkata's Mobile service provider Command has announced a tie-up with e-infrastructure solutions provider Venture Infotek to provide electronic refill coupon facility to Command subscribers.

According to a press release issued here, the service will allow subscribers of Yes, Command's pre-paid service, to electronically recharge their cash coupon. With the pre-paid segment growing fast, the initiative is expected to facilitate easy handling of the product by subscribers.

Electronic Data Capturing (EDC) machines used for processing credit card payment will be installed at various outlets across the city. Subscribers can choose from existing Yes denominations — Rs 300, Rs 650, Rs 1,200 and Rs 3,000 — get the electronic coupon with the unique code and recharge the pre-paid coupon. The EDC machine facilitates payment through cash at any participating outlet, the release adds.
