HYDERABAD, Jan. 27

ORACLE India, a subsidiary of Oracle Corporation, has announced the launch of a series of road shows to introduce its FastForward business solutions targeting the growing small and medium enterprises segment.

This move is part of Oracle's initiative to educate customers on its e-business solutions.

According to Mr Somesh Bhagat, Head (Marketing), Oracle India, in the face of the intensified competition in the current tough economic climate, it is important for decision-makers to get the right answers for the number of tough questions that organisations have today.

These meets are expected to cover various operations - finance, distribution, procurement, sales marketing and manufacturing. They are aimed at introducing the product range and solutions that can be designed to customer requirements.

These sessions will feature presentations by Indian customers who have leveraged Oracle's e-business offerings to run their business.

The Oracle e-business suite is an integrated suite of Internet business applications that automates critical business process across both front and back office operations.

It was implemented by over 1,100 companies across the world in 2001.
