NEW DELHI, Jan. 29 CREATIVE brainstorming could just be getting a fillip. iBank, a complete database of information related to the advertising and marketing profession, has begun doing the rounds in ad agencies and the marketing departments of various companies. Created by The Agency Source an organisation that tracks and monitors the advertising industry, iBank is an integrated set of databanks which stores information on about 7,500 companies, 15,000 brands, 1,800 product categories, 1,10,000 TV commercials and 6,700 news stories, according to officials at The Agency Source. Information about advertising done by brands across the world, producers' showreels and competitive news are among the features of iBank. Selection criteria cut across the purpose of advertising, the ad strategy, execution, protagonists and special comments. According to sources, Ogilvy & Mather, HTA, Everest and Leo Burnett are among the ad agencies expected to install iBank at their offices. The annual subscription fee for iBank is Rs 3.6 lakh for up to 250 users, which includes automated daily updates of new press ads, TV commercials and relevant news.
