CHENNAI: Aruna Sunrise Hotel has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that its board has approved a proposal to hive off the s unit at Ranipet which manufactures ferric and non ferric acid to a wholly-owned subsidiary.

Company officials said the rationale behind the move was to concentrate on the core business of hospitality.
