Promotions & Offers A forum for V-Day Ajita Shashidhar CHENNAI: THE Chennai-based book and gift store, Landmark, is celebrating Valentine's Day at its new store in Chennai's Spencer Plaza with a panel discussion titled, `Will the institution of marriage survive in the third millennium?' The panelists will include celebrities such as filmmaker Rajiv Menon, actress Suhasini Maniratnam, communications professional and theatre personality, P.C. Ramakrishna, and film maker and playwright, Chetan Shah. "There can be nothing better than talking about the institution of marriage on Valentine's Day," remarks Mr Jai Subramaniam of Landmark. "We are expanding our first store by 5,000 sq. ft., which will have a larger music section and a trendier card and gifts section," he adds. Web site Chennaibazaar.com has announced an array of gifting options for Chennaiites for Valentine's Day this year. The web site, reportedly, will enable people to send a gift of their choice to their Valentine, who will be serenaded by a guitarist playing the recipient's favourite song. The company also claims that the gift can be delivered exactly at midnight.
