MUMBAI, March 26

COMSAT Max has announced that it has received Sun Microsystems' certificate under the SunTone Certification and Branding Program for its suite of managed services.

The Comsat Max suite of managed services comprises VSAT services, Internet VPN services, security services, co-location and hosting services.

The SunTone certification provides a quality `seal of approval' confirming that Comsat Max suite of managed services meet stringent scalability, availability, reliability and performance standards necessary for deployment of Web-based services.

``The SunTone certification reaffirms our commitment towards providing excellent infrastructure and services to our customers through an in-depth knowledge of the key processes, people and technology. This would ensure a cost- effective, secure and joyful experience for our customers in India to outsource some of their IT and networking activities while they continue to focus on their core business,'' said Mr Sudipta K. Sen, Managing Director, Comsat Max, during a press conference held here.
