Our Bureau

BANGALORE: Subex Systems Ltd, a Bangalore-based telecom software solutions provider has announced that it has bagged an order worth $500,000 from an African telecom services provider.

The contract has been awarded by a GSM (global system for mobile communications) operator in Africa for two of Subex's products, which form part of the RevMax suite of products and services for revenue maximisation said a company press release. However, it did not name the client.

Commenting on the order win Mr Subhash Menon, President and CEO, Subex said, ``The RevMax suite effectively addresses and alleviates the pressures experienced by the CEOs of telecom operators to reach break even and also to become cash positive. Thus, in times of slowdown, the value of revenue maximisation is felt more than ever. Our continued success in the African region reiterates this''.
