Foodgrains Kerala: PDS rice, wheat rates fixed
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Government has fixed the prices of rice and wheat distributed through the public distribution system. Accordingly, the prices of rice and wheat for those above the poverty line will be Rs 7.90 and Rs 5.70 per kg respectively. For those below the poverty line, the prices of rice and wheat will be Rs 6.20 and Rs 5.70 per kg respectively. The new prices have been made effective from April 1.
