Society & Development Karnataka: Musical nite in aid of cancer patients Our Bureau
BANGALORE: Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology is organising a musical night in aid of cancer patients on April 20. Called `Sanjeevani', the programme will feature noted singer Manna Dey. Announcing this today, Minister for Higher and Medical Education, Mr G. Parameswara, said as it was not possible for the Government to subsidise treatment for the underprivileged sections, it had decided to organise a fund-raising event. The tickets for the event are priced at Rs 1,000 and Rs 500. The event is sponsored by McDowells, Kingfisher and Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation.
