Members of Yamato (Wadaiko - The Drummers of Japan) performing in Kolkata. Yamato was founded by Masaki Ogawa in 1993 and has performed all over the world. The company is based in Nara, the ancient capital of Japan, where the Japanese culture is believed to have originated. The group is in India to celebrate the 50th year of bilateral relationship between the two countries and their next shows will be in Chennai (April 22 and 23) and Delhi (April 29 and 30).
