THE Kochi-based Team e-biz Ltd, a e-business solutions provider, has developed an interactive informative portal for Rubber Board for the benefit of the rubber fraternity.

The major highlight of the portal - - is the rubber cultivation knowledge base which would be of muh use for rubber growers.

It is a massive repository of data which covers the entire gamut of rubber cultivation, a press release said.

Frequently asked questions, video clips and pictures are provided in each topic.

Up-to-date domestic and international prices are available in the rubber prices section.

The past price data is archived as a separate database so that users can understand the trends from graphical representations in the rubber prices section.

Various development activities and labour welfare schemes of the Rubber Board are added as separate sections in the portal apart from relevant information for manufacturers such as marketing and export services, technical support and licensing procedures.

A section is also incorporated in the portal to provide news relevant to rubber.

The portal will be an enormous data bank with all authentic up-to-date information needed for everyone connected with rubber.

The portal is fully managed and updated by the Rubber Board.

The release said that the portal will be a trendsetter for all Government organisatons endeavouring to e-enable their activities.
