Bulk returns deadline extended

NEW DELHI: The last date for bulk filing of returns by salaried employers through their employees has been extended to August 31.

An official statement issued here clarified that there is no change in the last date for filing of returns by persons not availing of the scheme of bulk filing of returns. The deadline for this segment (i.e. individual salaried tax payers) is July 31.
