Bangalore students win IT quiz

BANGALORE: Two students from National Public School (NPS), Indiranagar, have won the first prize in the TCS Quiz 2002.

Rohit and Akshay were among the 1,000 students from 100 schools who took part in the annual quiz and scored the highest tally of 90 points, according to a TCS release. Six teams were in the finals.

NPS-Rajajinagar won the second place with 80 points and another team from NPS-Indiranagar the third place. The winning teams received prizes of Rs 15,000, Rs 10,000 and Rs 8,000 besides gifts and coupons sponsored by Titan, Amoeba and Lifestyle.
