180 Rohini rockets to be launched

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thumba Equatorial Rocket Launching Station (TERLS) at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) situated at nearby Thumba plans to launch 180 Rohini-200 (RH-200 series) sounding rockets over the next five years.

A spokesman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) said that an RH-200 rocket was successfully launched at 7.18 p.m. last Monday.

It marked the resumption of sounding rocket launchings from TERLS after a gap of two years.
