Mr Nair stated this while speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of an ATM centre at Vellayambalam.

The Minister for Transport, Mr K.B. Ganesh Kumar, formally launched the ATM services at a function.

Outlining a slew of new technological initiatives which the bank has made in recent times, Mr Nair referred to Net banking for corporate customers availing collection and payment services (CAPS), Internet banking for retail customers, telebanking, lobby banking and CorpReach (remote access for companies and homes).

ATM cards - Corp Senior and Corp Junior - that enable customers to send cash to parents or children electronically without the hassles of a DD or cheque are another popular product.
