CII study on textile trade with Europe

NEW DELHI, Oct. 4

THE Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has prepared a joint study with the European industry to promote bilateral trade and investment in the textile sector.

In a statement, the chamber has said that the study, which identifies issues and the potential for further cooperation in the field, will be presented to the Prime Minister, Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and the President of the European Union (EU) and Prime Minister of Denmark, Mr Andres Fogh Rasmussen, at the third India-EU Business Summit scheduled to be held in Copenhagen on October 9.
