Vishwanath Kulkarni

BANGALORE, Oct. 17

IN a bid to broad-base its revenue streams, Kshema Technologies, the Bangalore-based software services company, is planning to diversify into the domestic market.

The company plans to partner with a systems integration company to tap the domestic market. "We are in talks with a couple of players and expect to finalise the tie-up soon," said Mr Anant Koppar, President and CEO.

"We are initially looking at addressing the e-governance segment, where in huge opportunities exists. Later, we may look to tapping the industrial automation segment for which we have the necessary expertise," he said.

Kshema is targeting projects worth $2 million from the domestic market for the current year, Mr Koppar said. The Karnataka Government was one among the 16-17 vendors recently empanelled the company, he said.

Meanwhile, the company is also firming up its plans for foray into the back-office processing (BPO) segment, which is likely to happen over the next couple of quarters.

It recently restructured its business again by merging four of its five strategic business units to create three new business groups.
