CSI meet in Bangalore from Oct 29

BANGALORE: The 37th National Convention of the Computer Society of India (CSI) is to be held in Bangalore between October 29 and October 31.

The Karnataka Chief Minister, Mr S.M. Krishna, is expected to inaugurate the convention, while Mr Ramalinga Raju, Chairman of Satyam Computer Services, Dr Willis K. King, President, IEEE Computer Society, and Dr David W. Hennage, Executive Director, IEEE Computer Society, USA will grace the occasion. The CSI is organising the National Convention in association with Department of IT & BT, Government of Karnataka and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

The three-day convention will bring together top professionals from the IT industry, user-groups and academia from around the world. The theme for the convention is "Harnessing and managing knowledge".
