Our Bureau

QUALITY Inn Residency, an ISO 9002 business star hotel here belonging to the Choice Hotels International, has plans to set up two new hotels in Hyderabad.

It has announced 40-80 per cent discount on food and beverages for guests marking its sixth anniversary celebrations. The discounts are in the form of complimentary breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The concessional offer would be in vogue for a week extendable by another week.

The hotel which has been nominated for the Economy Hotel of the Year as well as the General Manager of the Year category for the 9th Hotel and Food National Awards for Excellence has achieved a turnover of Rs. 6.5 crore for 2001-2002, according to Mr Vinod N. Sharma, General Manager.

Its occupancy was full throughout the year despite sluggish conditions in the hospitality industry, he told newspersons on Wednesday.

He said plans were afoot to start two projects in the city, one a business hotel with a shopping mall in Ameerpet and another hotel of the same category either at Banjara Hills or Jubilee Hills.
