TN chamber plans seminars

MADURAI, Dec. 12

THE Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry here has said that in connection with its sixth consecutive Chamber Trade Fair, scheduled to be held between December 20 and January 6, the Chamber in association with TACED is organising a series of seminars.

The topics chosen are relevant to the prevailing situation and requirements and will be held in the evening hours, the chamber release said.

The seminars to be held would cover the following subjects: How to set up call centre business?; status, scope for herbal cultivation and extraction; steps for promoting units in Madurai Apparel Park; practical inputs for operating departmental stores; family managed business; viable projects in food processing sector; discovering potentials of businessmen; how to start export and import business?

The fee for each seminar has been fixed at Rs 200 and a concessional rate of Rs 500 would be extended to those wishing to participate in three seminars, the release said.
