Applications invited for shop towel export quota

COIMBATORE, Dec.12

THE Ministry of Textiles (MoT) has decided to keep the ready goods (RG) quota for shop towels (coming under the item category No. 369(S)) for US exports open from December 10 to December 31.

This has been done to clear the quota for this category of exports on a continuous basis, says a press release from the Executive Director of the Cotton Textile Export Promotion Council (Texprocil), Mr Siddhartha Rajagopal.

The release says that exporters of shop towels to the US seeking the quota under the category could file their applications with the respective Texprocil offices.
