The crop is being grown on an experimental basis in about 6,000 hectares in the State and the official nod for its cultivation would be issued only after weighing its pros and cons, the Minister for Agriculture, Mr V.S. Koujalgi, has said adding so far not much benefit has been perceived in terms of yield to the farmer using the variety.
