Sify completes fresh investments

CHENNAI: Satyam Infoway Ltd has announced the completion of the $13 million investment by SOFTBANK Asia Investment Fund (SAIF) and the $3.5 million first tranche of investment by VentureTech Solutions Pvt Ltd. In a statement released, the company said that the closure of funds follows the announcement of approval by shareholders of the investment at the extra-ordinary general meeting held on December 9 this year. It added that it expects to complete the second tranche of VentureTech's investment of $ 3.5 million on or before April 30, 2003.
