TRAI discusses Reliance tariff

NEW DELHI, Dec. 23

THE Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has concluded its consultation process on the limited mobility tariff plans of Reliance Communciations which are due to be launched later this week.

While it had already consulted the cellular operators and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) to take their views last week, the authority held a meeting with consumer organisations to get their opinion on the tariff plan on Monday.

According to sources, a full meeting of the authority was also held to deliberate on the various issues that had been highlighted during the consultation process.
