Bengal CM invites investors to AEZs

KOLKATA, Feb. 6

THE West Bengal Chief Minister, Mr Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, has called upon domestic and foreign private investors to come forward in a big way to take advantage of the emerging scenario in the agri-business sector.

Inaugurating an Investors' Conference for Agri Export Zones (AEZs) here on Thursday, Mr Bhattacharjee said, "if investors join forces with all promotional agencies, the country will be in a position to face international competition confidently and enhance export of quality agricultural products, including fruits and medicinal plants, thereby making way for the steady success of the AEZs.
