Orders worth $15 m generated at IETF fair

NEW DELHI, Feb. 9

THE four-day International Engineering and Technology Fair (IETF), which concluded here on Saturday, generated business order bookings worth $15.23 million. In a statement, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), which had organised the fair, said that the event attracted participation from over 36 countries.

Speaking to the press, Mr Sunil Kant Munjal, Chairman, CII Economic Affairs Committee, and Managing Director, Hero Corporate Services, said, "We have received over 6,200 business enquiries. In case 50 per cent of them also materialise, we are talking about business of another $1,437.08 million."
