BANGALORE, April 2

SOFTWARE services firm Mascot Systems has announced a strategic alliance with Nihon Unisys, a Japanese systems integrator, to provide application maintenance services jointly to Unisys' customers.

Nihon Unisys is a part of the Unisys Group, a global information technology solutions and services company.

This alliance with Unisys will give Mascot an opportunity to explore further business prospects with Unisys' customer portfolio and is expected to increase offshore revenues, a Mascot press release said.

Through this alliance, Nihon Unisys will expand its outsourcing business under the PowerRental brand, with Mascot providing the application maintenance services.
