IA launches Goa packages

NEW DELHI, April 24

Indian Airlines (IA), which will start three non-stop flights between Delhi and Goa from May 1 this year, has announced a special promotional return fare of Rs 16,785 and also come up with special hotel packages for passengers travelling with the state-owned airline.

IA has tied up with 20 major hotels in Goa to offer the `IA Goa flyaways' packages, which will be on offer from May 1 to September 30. The package will include return fare, airport transfers, standard rooms, meal packages, sightseeing and other value add-ons. The package will be available from 12 cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Nagpur, Kolkata, Bangalore, Kozhikode, Jaipur, Hyderabad and Bhavnagar, among others.

The cost of a three night/four-day package for a passenger from Delhi could vary from Rs 19,855 for a person staying in a three-star hotel in Goa to Rs 40,230 for a passenger staying in a deluxe five-star suite.
