3-day AV Expo to showcase products, growth

BANGALORE, June 20
THE country's largest audio visual exhibition opened in Bangalore on Friday with over 30 companies participating in the event.
The three-day exhibition showcases the audio visual industry's growth and its products. "The growing market for audio visual equipment in south India and the right kind of infrastructure in Bangalore has led us to organise such an event in Bangalore," Mr Rahul Shah, General Manager, Special Interest Publications Division of Tata Infomedia, said. Some of the brands on display are Bose, Sony, Yamaha, Onkyo and Onida.
The special interest publications' division of Tata Infomedia publishes Overdrive, Better Photography, AV Max, Automonitor, SEARCH and Chemical World magazines. With a circulation of over 45,000, AV Max features equipment reviews, news, new technology showcases, recommended CDs and DVDs, artiste profiles and interviews, ratings of audio and video systems with a comprehensive `Buyers Guide.'
AV Expo has been organised earlier at Mumbai and New Delhi and has attracted over 50,000 visitors with 1.5 crore enquiries being generated in New Delhi alone.
