Our Bureau

KOCHI: The customer base of Escotel Mobile Communications Ltd (Escotel) has crossed six lakh in its three circles - Uttaranchal, Haryana and Kerala, according to an official release here on Thursday.

Announcing this achievement, the Escotel CEO, Mr Rajan Swaroop, said, "this achievement of 6,00,000 customers mark is an important milestone for us. It clearly reflects the inherent potential within our circles; which is comparable to some of the Category A circles; and the superior quality of our services and our people." He said the company would be investing Rs 150 crore for "expansion and up-gradation of our GSM network in all the three circles".
