Mergers & Acquisitions Perot Systems to pay $10 m for Vision Healthsource Our Bureau

CHENNAI, July 3 THE US-based Perot Systems, one of the companies founded by the American tycoon, Mr Ross Perot, will pay $10 million (approximately Rs 50 crore) for acquiring Vision Healthsource, a BPO company based in Chennai. Perot Systems will pay $3 million in cash and another $7 million if certain performance targets are met between now and 2006, Mr Anurag Jain, the Founder and CEO of Vision Healthsource, told journalists here on Thursday. Vision Healthsource is a provider of billing, receivables and claims business process outsourcing solutions for healthcare service providers. Mr Jain termed the acquisition of his company by Perot Systems as "a landmark deal for our company that validates the global services delivery model".
