AP extends ban on strike

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Government has prohibited strikes in all services under the Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd (APTransco) for a further period of six months.

The bar also applies to the four distribution companies established under the AP Electricity Reforms Act, 1998. In a notification, the Government also prohibited strikes in all services under the AP Power Generation Corporation Ltd for six months with effect from July 20, a Government release said.
