Our Bureau

HYDERABAD: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd, in its Hyderabad Telecom district, has announced it has enhanced the bandwidth from 50 Mbps (mega bytes per second) to 84 Mbps and has begun to offer post-paid Internet facility.

At a press conference here, Mr J. Balakrishna, Principal General Manager, Hyderabad Telecom district, said that this facility will provide faster downloads for BSNL Internet users. "Alongside this, we are launching a host of other value-added services and creating a task force to handle complaints round the clock."

"The telecom district is fine-tuning the equipment for WLL Tarang facility. Thereafter, followed by a survey, we plan to add more towers. In the last three months, we have enrolled about 12,000 Tarang users," Mr Balakrishna said.
